JAMES McGEE Mr. James Andrew "Bud" McGee, Jr., 84, of Lexington, died Wednesday December 28, 1994 at the VA Medical Center, Cooper Drive, Lexington. A native of Danville, he was the son of the late James A. and Willie McGee. A graduate of Danville High School, he attended Centre College and Southern Methodist University. He was an army veteran of WW II, a professional musician, a Kentucky Village cottage parent and an inventory clerk for the Kentucky Department of Transportation. Survivors include a son, James A. McGee, Lexington; a daughter, Elizabeth McGee Allison, Louisville; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth McGee Goode and a son, Joseph McGee. Funeral and Masonic services were at 10 a.m. Friday, December 30 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Lexington, with the Rev. Bill Ransdall officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park with military honors.
