Wrigley Enterprises and Deloitte Consulting – SAP CFM/Treasury Consultant for Global SAP Implementation – Munich, Germany – Jul 2002 to Present
Assessed Wrigley’s Global Reference Model as Deloitte Consulting’s CFM (Corporate Finance Management) In-House Cash Treasury (IHC) expert covering US, Western/Eastern Europe, and Asia regions (20+ countries). Led discussions for a global Treasury operation to centralize payments, to further eliminate foreign currency risk, to optimize lending/borrowing, and to streamline inter-company sales/purchase transaction settlements. Redesigned and documented Wrigley’s global Treasury processes and SAP configuration standards for greater flexibility and efficiencies; specifically involving inter-company netting, foreign/domestic payments, electronic bank statement processing and its linkages with Accounts Receivable, foreign currency hedging, and accounting for automatic zero-balancing account (ZBA) cash movements. Configured and cross-trained electronic bank statement, US lockbox, intra-day bank statement polling, cash position, liquidity forecast, money markets (lending/borrowing), foreign exchange deals, AP F110 payment program, TR F111 payment program, and cash concentration.

David M. Lee
David M. Lee is professor of physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University. He joined the Department of Physics as an instructor in 1959 after earning a Ph.D. in physics (1959 Yale University), an M.S. (University of Connecticut, 1955) and a B.A. (Harvard University, 1952). In 1976, Lee shared with Richardson and Osheroff their earliest recognition for studies of superfluidity, the Simon Memorial Prize of the British Physical Society. The Buckley Prize of the American Physical Society followed for the trio in 1981. Lee has twice been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships, in 1966 and 1974. Lee was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1990 and a Member of the National Academy of Sciences in 1991. He was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society and of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, both in 1982. From 1966-67, Lee was a visiting scientist at Brookhaven National Laboratory, as well as a visiting professor at University of Florida (1974-75) and at University of California at San Diego (1988). He was born Jan. 20, 1931, in Rye, N.Y. and graduated from Rye High School in 1948.

6. David M. Lee - Autobiography
david M. lee – Autobiography. My parents were born and brought upin New York City. My father was trained as an electrical engineer
http://www.nobel.se/physics/laureates/1996/lee-autobio.html
My parents were born and brought up in New York City. My father was trained as an electrical engineer and my mother was an elementary school teacher. They were the children of Jewish immigrants who had come to the United States from England and Lithuania in the late 1800's. One of my great grandfathers had actually settled in the United States considerably earlier. When I was born on January 20, 1931, my parents lived in a small suburban town, Rye, New York, just outside New York City. My father commuted by train to his job at a small but growing electrical manufacturing company in the city. During the great economic depression of the early 1930's we moved to the city for a few years to save money, but eventually moved back to Rye, where I received my early education. As time went on our family circumstances improved as my father advanced in his company, which was expanding rapidly, and eventually became its president.
As a child I was fascinated by living things in the fields and along the coast line near our home. I was constantly roaming around collecting frogs, fish, salamanders, snakes and worms. Starting at the age of six, I spent every summer away from home at various children's camps in New England, giving me further opportunities to explore this interest.
My other childhood passion was railways. I managed to accumulate an extensive collection of railway timetables covering the entire U.S.A. and became a young travel expert. When I was a very young child my father gave me a set of spring-operated "wind-up" trains. The first thing I did was to insert the tracks into the electric socket in our kitchen. A shower of sparks flew all over the room. Fortunately my parents were indulgent and everyone laughed about the incident.

Lee, David M.,
in full DAVID MORRIS LEE (b. Jan. 20, 1931, Rye, N.Y., U.S.), American physicist who, with Robert C. Richardson and Douglas D. Osheroff , was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1996 for their joint discovery of superfluidity in the isotope helium Lee received a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 1952 and a Ph.D. in physics from Yale University in 1959. He joined the faculty of Cornell University (Ithaca, N.Y.) in 1959, becoming a full professor there in 1968. Lee and Richardson built a special cooling apparatus for their research in the low-temperature laboratory at Cornell. They discovered superfluidity in helium-3 by accident in 1972. They had cooled that compound to within a few thousandths of a degree above absolute zero (-273 C) when Osheroff, a graduate student working with them, noticed odd changes in the sample's internal pressure. The team eventually determined that these deviations marked helium-3's phase transition to superfluidity. Because the atoms in superfluid helium-3 move in a coordinated manner, that substance lacks all internal friction and flows without resistance. Helium-3 in this state behaves according to quantum mechanical laws. The discovery of superfluidity in helium-3 enabled scientists to study directly in macroscopic (visible) systems the strange quantum mechanical effects that previously could only be studied indirectly in molecules, atoms, and subatomic particles.

I kept my own weather records and subscribed to the daily weather map issued by the U.S. weather bureau. One day I asked my father about a book in his library entitled The Mysterious Universe by Sir James Jeans. He indicated that no one really understood what was in the book. I immediately picked up the book and began to read it. There was a beautiful discussion of the cosmology known at that time, which I found totally fascinating. I think that this book really sparked my interest in physics.
