Dadurch wurde das eine oder andere Internet-Paket weggeworfen und Browser oder Mailprogramm haben eine Fehlermeldung erzeugt. Ursache war entweder intensives File-Sharing oder ein Virus. Den Rechner habe ich vom Netz genommen und den Nutzer darauf hingewiesen. Achtet bitte darauf, wenn ihr Hausarbeiten oder andere wissenschaftliche Dokumente mit anderen austauscht (File-Sharing), dass dies im Rahmen bleibt und nicht zu viele Verbindungen gleichzeitig geoeffnet werden. Ebenso sollte ein aktueller Virenscanner (gibt es in der Internet-Hotline, Blauer Turm - die Uni hat eine Campus-Lizenz gekauft) auf jedem PC sein, sowie das Windows-Update auf dem neusten Stand sein.

"Bobby" Koch to President and Chief Executive Officer at its Board of Directors meeting and 69th Annual Membership meeting held June 10, 2003, in Carmel, California.
