Sat, 27 Apr 2002 20:26:59 +0100 My personal opinion as an XSLT programmer is that being able to obtain a complete (scaled if necessary) sequence at once (in one call) is much more convenient than having to repeatedly call a function for obtaining a single random number, then having to preserve it and pass it as the new seed, and repeat this over and over again. Agreed. Of course this will work much better with XPath 2.0 where you can return a sequence of doubles. Michael Kay
