Back To A Guide To Current DVD The Movie: Director David Mamet has become one of Hollywood's most famous writer/directors, either offering his screenwriting talents on such films as "Wag The Dog" and "The Untouchables", or directing such recent films as "State and Main" or "The Winslow Boy". "House Of Games" is Mamet's directorial debut, and it remains as one of his better works. The movie stars Lindsay Crouse as a psychiatrist who goes to a criminal(Joe Mantegna) when she finds out that one of her patients owes the man a good deal of cash. She goes to seek him out (only in a Mamet movie) and finds out that there's more to the operation that Mantegna's character is running than meets the eye. "House Of Games", like Mamet's other features, is slow-moving with only a limited amount of visual style, but engaging in the way that the dialogue and performances are so good. Crouse is often the weakest link out of the entire cast, with a flat delivery, but the rest of the actors do very well. I'm certainly not going to spoil any of the twists of the movie, but do recommend it on the strength of Mamet's screenplay, with his own particular brand of dialogue.

Hence to show all the possible configurations of a Rubik's cube seems to be an impossible task, but this should not discourage us: to find a solution to the puzzle it is not necessary to know all the possible configurations, it is enough to manage some of them with sufficient ability. The aim of these animation is to introduce the interested reader to discover the strategy to follow in order to solve the Rubik's cube puzzle, without giving however the complete solution... On the contrary, some new puzzles will be introduced, similar but simpler than the Rubik's cube which will allow to discover possible solution strategies. We shall consider a generalized problem and we shall take the opportunity to introduce some mathematical concepts which are part of what is called group theory... Reindeer Games entertains the viewer with the comedy and unpredictability of its resolutions. After being released from prison, the now reformed car thief Rudy (Ben Affleck) wants to stay away from trouble. Meeting the lovable Ashley (Charlize Theron: The Cider House Rules doesn't seem to upset his happy vision of the future, until they stumble upon her violent brother, Gabriel (Gary Sinise). Convinced Rudy has inside information that would help him rob a casino, Gabriel, Merlin (Clarence Williams III: The Legend of 1900 and their partners kidnap the happy couple and force the victimized Rudy back into the game of crime.
