EeBee Music is largely a reflection of my professional work at Interlochen Arts Academy, where I teach composition and theory, as well as conduct the Chamber Singers, a select 16-voice group which specializes in medieval, Renaissance, and 20th century music. I received an assortment of degrees (two bachelors, a masters, and a doctorate) from Oberlin College, Oberlin Conservatory, Ball State University, and University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music in composition, history, and theory. PMS will be available sometime in early 2004. Hopefully I will have it available at Practicum on February 21st. An Explanation The PMS was originally produced to encourage social singing of SCA-period music in my local area (Kingdom of Ealdormere). In putting it together I looked for songs which: Dated to SCA period, or just afterwards. Those from afterwards do not refer to obviously out-of-period subject matter. Can be sung with only the melody line - four-part harmony is included in the sheet music but is not required to enjoy the music Are mostly in English, with a small proportion in other languages Have familiar tunes - many songs are early music "top 40 hits" Have fun subject matter - sex, alcohol, Christmas, etc.
