A Note From Martin Weimer
June 4,1995 Dear fellow midi listener, If you have collected as many midi files as I have, disorganization of file names will have become a problem for you. Because there is no standard, I am attempting to fill a void with the introduction of this document. The first letters of a classical midi file should begin with the name of the composer. Because of the eight letter file name limit, we must make any organization as tidy as possible. By grabbing a few old Schwann catalogs, I began work on the following scheme. Feel free to update correct names, dates, add new names, etc. If you have any comments or suggestest, please send them via email to weimermt@libby.org LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH TOP HOME LAST NAME FIRST NAME MIDDLE NAME BIRTH/DEATH ian Iannaccone Anthony (1943- ibe Ibert Jacques (1890-1962) ich Ichiyanagi Toshi (1933- imb Imbrie Andrew W.
