Updated April 30, 2004, 10:38 a.m. ET Heidi Fleiss seeks damages from Tom Sizemore for domestic violence SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in Superior Court. Sizemore, a star of "Black Hawk Down" and "Saving Private Ryan," was convicted last August of criminal misdemeanor charges of physically abusing Fleiss and harassing and annoying her. He was sentenced to six months in jail, but a judge postponed the jail term to allow Sizemore to finish a live-in program at a drug rehabilitation center. The lawsuit recounts allegations in the criminal case, including violent incidents in which Sizemore beat Fleiss at the Beverly Hills home they shared. Sizemore's publicist, Nancy Seltzer, said she was not aware of the lawsuit and could not comment. Fleiss met Sizemore shortly after her 1999 release from 21 months in prison for tax evasion and attempted pandering. She alleges in the suit that Sizemore several times threatened to contact her probation officer so that her probation would be revoked and she would be forced to return to prison. The threats caused Fleiss "severe emotional distress," the lawsuit said. Fleiss also is seeking damages for property that Sizemore allegedly destroyed or gave away, including furniture, clothing and artwork. | |
