From the book Lives of Saints, published by John J. Crawley.
    http://www.ewtn.com/library/MARY/CHRISTOP.htm
SAINT CHRISTOPHER MARTYR THIRD CENTURY Feast: July 25 This miracle brought about the conversion of many in those parts, but it aroused the wrath of the pagan king, who had Christopher imprisoned, tortured, and beheaded. In the Golden Legend are to be found other stories of the saint which were current in medieval times. Christopher is loved and honored in the churches both of the East and the West. In addition to being the patron and protector of all travelers, he is also invoked against storms and sudden death. In art Christopher is usually shown with his emblems, the Christ Child, a tree in bloom, a torrent; the great artists Durer and Pollaiuolo are among those who have portrayed him in the act for which he is best known. True Love Waits: Christopher O'Riley Plays Radiohead

Sony Classical SK 87321 (June 2003)
Christopher O'Riley's new CD features 15 of his Radiohead piano transcriptions.
A Note from Former PT Producer Mark Mobley
Since the day Chuck Berry first told Beethoven to roll over, classical music and rock have had an on-again, off-again relationship. The music and musicians can seem so far apart a gap demonstrated by such painful examples of temporary insanity as "Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Play the Beatles," and "The Immortal Songs of Bob Dylan," as interpreted by the Gotham String Quartet. Christopher O'Riley's Radiohead transcriptions are in another league, that small category of crossover that actually works. Radiohead's music, created collaboratively by its five members, is verging on classical music to begin with. The music uses various unlikely time signatures and quirky electronic instruments. And the production is impeccable; there's hardly a note out of place.

I grew up wanting to be a writer for theatre. Then in college I became obsessed with film, and wanted to be part of that. Then after going to Yale School of Drama in playwriting, I wanted to be part of both. At Yale I befriended Wendy Wasserstein, and post Yale I noted that she seemed to be meeting film and TV people at various New York cocktail parties and getting job offers that way. (Her plays didn't hurt either.) So I asked her to start bringing me to some of these parties. And the first job, which kind of came from these "party" connections (no, HUAC, that's "party" with a small p), was a development deal for the Ladd Company, a screenplay job for me and Wendy jointly, based on a very funny, very short story by Charles McGrath. I remember at the first meeting with "our" Ladd executive, she spoke authoritatively about "when we make the picture," and talked about casting and location. I was young enough (late 20s) that I just assumed if they said they'd make it, they would. Ha, ha, ha-joke's on me. Most of my Writers Guild jobs have ended up being "development" jobs. On the one hand, I'm grateful to be hired and thrilled to be paid. (And sometimes have needed that pay desperately.) On the other hand, these "development" jobs start to feel positively existential: Sisyphus, pushing the rock of multiple rewrites up the hill endlessly, always to have it come crashing back down.

    Christopher Lloyd
    "Doc Emmett L. Brown" (1,2,3,Ride,Animated)
    REAL NAME:
Christopher A. Lloyd BORN: October 22, 1938, Stamford, Conneticut STATS: 6'1", Brown eyes EDUCATION: Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. SPOUSE: Jane Walker Wood-Lloyd
CHRISTOPHER LLOYD , an actor whose performing credits include a wide variety of motion picture, television and theatrical roles, has been known to make magic on more than one performance. There are several actors who can be instantly identified to a single character role. For Lloyd, single character recognition is impossible. He has captivated both critics and audiences alike with his winning portrayals of quirky, off-beat characters; portrayals that have taken him to untold dimensions. Constantly astounding and amusing fellow cast and crew members with outrageous improvisation, his performances take on a variety of facial and body contortions that are unique only to Lloyd.
Christopher Lloyd grew up in nearby New Canaan and Westport. He was drawn to acting at the age of 14, and only two years later, was apprenticing in summer stock. At the age of 19, he moved to New York and began acting classes, most notably at the Neighborhood Playhouse with Sanford Meisner. Opting for the bright lights of the big city over college, he moved to New York City to study acting. Before long, off-Broadway became his new stomping grounds.
Christopher Lloyd has appeared in countless Broadway, New York Shakespeare Festivals, and off-Broadway productions. Among these are: "Happy End", "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (both opposite Meryl Streep), "Red, White and Maddox", "Kaspar", "The Harlot and the Hunted", "The Seagull", "Total Eclipse", "MacBeth", "In the Boom Boom Room", "Cracks", "Professional Resident Company", "What Every Woman Knows", "As They Put Handcuffs on the Flowers", "The Father", "King Lear", and "Power Failure".
