It's what introduced me to Angelina Jolie, and made me a fan before she became a huge star. There's a lot to love in this film, and not just for teenage girls, though no doubt that was the target audience. I've known guys, and adults of both sexes to enjoy it as well. What I loved about it, besides the great acting (Jolie, of course was great, but the whole cast of girls shone in this movie) was just about everything. It was fun and heartfelt, the realtionships between the girls were well developed, and there was a certain charisma between them that was interesting.The teenage rebellion was fun and not too formulated, (though it was predictable, of course.) | |
