The temporary guide provides bibliographic and access information for the publications contained in the specific unit indicated. Upon completion of the project, a cumulative, hardcover guide superceding all temporary guides will be published by Research Publications. Each temporary guide consists of a Main-entry Index and a Title Listing. The Main-entry Index is arranged alphabetically by verified main entry, and reflects the organization of publications on film. The Title Listing provides access to the microfilm by title. To locate a specific item, refer to the reel and identification numbers found in italics at the end of each entry in the temporary reel guide. Shropshire Shakespeare project launches in style
Michael Wood, the BBC broadcaster whose recent successful television series followed the life of William Shakespeare, has launched a Shropshire-based project with a Shakespearean theme which will transform access to Shropshire's history.
The "Seven Ages of Man" project has converted information from 30,000 pages of archive catalogues and put them on a website, where they can be searched 24 hours a day. Shropshire Archives was the base for the project which involved archive services from across the West Midlands.
