From Dardanelle take Hwy 27 west. Turn right on 307, when you come to a small fire station, turn right and go past the Chickalah Mountain Church, following the road around a bend to the cemetery. This cemetery is well taken care of. Copied and updated 22 Apr 1992 by Marilyn Roberts and Cornelia Daniels. Six graves walled up and covered with large native stones. There is carving on the headstones but impossible to read. This is an old cemetery and some of the stones very hard to read. In a few cases I used the information from the book "Of Grave Importance" by The Baxter County Historical Society - 1994. In some cases I've put information from an obituary, other wise the information is from the tombstones. In an undertaking like this there seems to always be mistakes. I apologize for missed stones and misspelled names. By: Vera (Lane) Reeves Acheson, Delia Meland (shares stone with Maj Robert) 10 Apr 1911 17 Jul 1979
