Below are the headstones that I have found at Montgomery Cemetery.
This may not be a complete list of Civil War burials at this cemetery!
If I was able to gain any other information on the Soldier from the headstone, that information will be listed. If your soldier does not have additional information and he was in a Pennsylvania Regiment you may request a look up in Bates History. I will do look ups as my time permits. The look up will include basic information such as Regiment, Company, enlistment and discharge dates only. The rest will be up to YOU!

Willow Hill Cemetery - Pennsylvania
Willow Hill Cemetery WILLOW HILL, PENNSYLVANIA Pennsylvania Express Way Exit 14, Highway 75 South about 5 miles Recorded July 10, 1986. This Cemetery on the Church Grounds of the Reformed Church, built 1884, Annual Service 2nd. Sunday in June - 11347 on Highway 75 My husband and I recorded the information from the headstones in Willow Hill Cemetery in 1986 – the data below in no way implies that all that are buried in this cemetery are listed here. If you know of others buried in this cemetery and would like that information listed - I’d be happy to include that data. Also you will find some listed that don’t have death dates – if you know that, that person has died please update. I received an update on some of the information from Vince Montague – I will show (*vm) after the corrections and additions he sent. – Also information on the cemetery is: The correct name of the church and cemetery is The Fannettsburg Reformed Church and Cemetery. The church was built in 1844 rather than 1884 as you have listed. Also it is not in Willow Hill. It is in close proximity to the Pennsylvania Turnpike exchange called Willow Hill but it is located less than a mile from the village of Fannettsburg. The village of Willow Hill has no churches and only one cemetery. The expressway that you have listed is correctly designated as The Pennsylvania Turnpike.

    Connecticut Inventors
By Robert Asher, The University of Connecticut The first significant Connecticut invention to be recorded was the lapidary machine developed in 1765 by Abel Buell of Killingworth (1742-1822), a talented goldsmith and engraver. In 1775, Saybrook's David Bushnell (1742-1824), studying at Yale College, built the world's first combat submarine. Bushnell's Turtle was powered by a hand-cranked screw propeller (the first known application of the screw to water propulsion). The Turtle was able to navigate underwater but failed in its attempt (1776) to attach a mine to the hull of a British warship anchored in New York harbor. In the twentieth century, submarine building became a major Connecticut industry. Inventor Simon Lake (1886-1914) designed submarines that were adopted by the U.S. Navy and were produced in Bridgeport after 1913. John P. Holland (1842-1914) also made many advances in submarine design. Beginning in 1924, submarines based on Holland's innovations were produced by the Electric Boat Company in Groton. Robert Fulton, the New York steamboat entrepreneur, incorporated many elements of Bushnell's submarine design into the steamboats he built. However, more than a generation before Fulton's innovations, John Fitch (1743-1798), a South Windsor native, had used his experience as a clockmaker, brass worker, and silversmith to design in 1786 what was probably the first American boat powered by a steam engine.
