A Falkner Family Tree
This page combines information found in 'Burke's Landed Gentry' with the family tree produced by Anne Louisa Falkner (1862-1933) who, to my everlasting regret (and maybe hers too), died before I could ever really get to meet her.
In her words: "This Genealogy is a working hypothesis till Richard and Sarah of Hopton Wafers. From henceforth it is absolutely authenticated."

Spiritwalk Library Project Gutenberg http://www.gutenberg.net Project Gutenberg is the Internet's oldest producer of FREE electronic books (eBooks or eTexts). It intends to put as many books on-line as possible and to gather these on line works into one central location. It is a terrific service of the University of Illinois.
Project Gutenberg is the brainchild of Michael Hart, who in 1971 decided that it would be a really good idea if lots of famous and important texts were freely available to everyone in the world. Since then, he has been joined by hundreds of volunteers who share his vision. Now, more than thirty years later, Project Gutenberg has the following figures (as of November 8th 2002): 203 New eBooks released during October 2002, 1975 New eBooks produced in 2002 (they were 1240 in 2001) for a total of 6267 Total Project Gutenberg eBooks. 119 eBooks have been posted so far by Project Gutenberg of Australia

    OF MUSIC ARRANGED AND PUBLISHED
    BY J.A. PARKS MUSIC COMPANY
INTRODUCTION last revised November 13, 2003 This portion of the J.A. Parks web site contains links to information about composers and lyricists / librettists of the music arranged and published by J.A. Parks. The stimulus to develop this portion was an e-mail reference request from a Scottish researcher received three weeks after the J.A. Parks page was first posted on the web. Many of the composers and librettists in Parks' publications are "forgotten." Some are remembered today only for one or two lyrics or a single melody. Still others are of significant historical interest to be mentioned in standard reference works such as Grove s. A few are "household names." The links on this page open little "snapshots" which taken together form a mosaic of 19th and early 20th Century musical tastes and personalities. We have added two or more links for a few personalities in cases where each of the sites has information not provided by the other(s). We started the initial composition of this page in late September, 2003. We have relied primarily on searches in the major web search engines

A discussion of the father figures in Louisa May Alcott's novella "The Marble Woman" (1865). This work typifies the Gothic romance of the dark, Byronic hero and a homeless girl, but is more complex than the usual since it offers a palimpsest of romantic love. The two mysterious men who appear to be rivals for the young girl's love are father figures, projections of Alcott's own father, Bronson. Alcott doubles one real man, Bronson, to create two fathers, one cold and one erotic. This split reveals clearly her ambivalence about her own father.

Picture above at the Adair family reunion on July 18, 1998: Norma June Hale Entrekin, Linda Kae Sherwood Hitchcock, and Jerry Allen Hitchcock.
The Pinetop Cemetery is located in the White Mountains of North-East Arizona in Navajo County Zip Code 85935. Pinetop derived it's name from the nickname of a saloon keeper who served the Fort Apache soldiers. The cemetery is located off Highway 260 (White Mountain Boulevard) and Penrod Lane next to Charlie Clark's Steakhouse. Directions are head south on Penrod Lane until it comes to an end. The cemetery is at the end of Penrod Lane about one-half mile off Highway 260. In the late 1800s Mormon Pioneers settled Pinetop and surrounding areas. The Pinetop Cemetery became in use as a cemetery about 1909. This web site is used mainly by family members and is therefore made primarily for them. Thank you for visiting my web site and hope you enjoy learning about our ancestors. Sincerely, Delbert Adair Jr. Below is a alphabetical list of individuals buried at the Pinetop, Arizona Cemetery. Married females are listed by their married surname. One asterick next to a name means they are related by blood and/or marriage to the Adairs. Two astericks means their life story is included by clicking on the link below. **Adair, Clements David 1899-1951
