Coles County, IL Marriages
This is a combination of marriage lists:
1). List of folks who were married or applied for marriage licenses between 1851 and 1870 - brides and grooms. These came from a book in Sharon Wick's possession and she will do look-ups for you if you email her at sawick@suite224.net . Include the "Page of Book" in your email so she can quickly find your person and give you a spouse name and exact date. Hopefully one day, we will match them up here.....
2). List of early marriages donated by Sharon Wick, and also available at her EARP family website at http://earpconnections.tripod.com
3). List of early marriages from the book "Early Marriage Records of Coles Co., IL" compiled by Mrs. T.B. Davis and Mrs. Wilson McTeer, and previously transcribed/submitted to Illinois Trails by Donna Chernick.
4). List of marriages for Cox, Hicks, Kibler, Kite, Myers, Thompson, Wheeler, Wiley, Wright - all surnames Kim is researching and which were previously posted on this website on other webpages. Most of these marriages came from the "Index of Surnames" and some from the Illinois State Archives' Marriage Index.
5). List of marriages submitted by researchers. If you would like to contribute a marriage that occurred in Coles County
