Graves 1 to 800
[Transcribed by Jane Devlin]

[Transcriber's note: In transcribing the dates, I have standardized them in the day - month - year format most often used in databases. Words that have been abbreviated where possible: yr for year, mo for month, wk for week, dy for day, d. for died.
I have also capitalized surnames, but because women were often given middle names that were family surnames, it was often impossible to discern if a name was a maiden name. Therefore, I have not capitalized any that were questionable, but the researcher should be aware that lack of capitalization does not necessarily preclude a name being a surname. jd]
The following inscriptions were taken from the monuments standing inthe cemetery in the early part of the year 1917. A number of these monuments have since become undecipherable and still others have fallen into decay, the effect of the elements having in many instances caused the front of the markers to peel off to the depth of the inscription cut into them. In this burial yard are to be found patriots of all the wars of the United States - Indian and Colonial; Revolutionary, 1812, Civil, Spanish-American, and the late World War.
