Alvin Clark *2) Akin, Richey, Ingram, Booth journey has been documented and compiled by Mike Booth at mikeboo@clatskanie.com *3) Capt John Metzker, originally an emigrant of 1848 returned east and led a party of family and friends to OR in 1852. There were 22 wagons in the group. *4) McCully Train was compiled and published by Sanford and Sally Wilbur. Their web site features many of the names on the McCully Train *5) Capt. Richard Coytmore Howard, D.D., Rector of Llanrhiadr, Denbigh, and his wife Dorothea Catherine, d. of the Rev. Thomas Clough, Rector of Denbigh. They married 16/6/1852 at Llanfair, Carnarvonshire: she died at Cilcain Vicarage 12/6/1853, aged 28, presumably of the after-effects of childbirth - four days before what would have been her first wedding anniversary. [AA/2] ELINOR GREEN only d. of Thomas Green, J.P., of Wilby in Suffolk, and his wife Georgiana, d. of John Mordaunt. Elinor died at 28/12/62 at Cilcain Vicarage aged 29. [AA/3] CAROLINE ANTONIA HAFFENDEN 4th. daughter of Thomas Haffenden of Hanwell, Middx. (presumably a relative of his mother): she died at Glapwell 26/4/1883. Of his children listed below with their spouses, Thomas [AAA] was the only child of his marriage to Jane; all the others were born to Elinor. Caroline had no children.

FAIRVIEW CEMETERY Fairview Cemetery is located southeast of Mill City and southwest of Gates in Linn County, Oregon, T10S, R3E, Section 34, and was established in 1883. This cemetery surveyed by Cathy Morgan in 1999, and donated for genealogical research purposes only. Cathy says, "I might explain that I only surveyed the East and Middle sections. The West Section are all fairly new stones from recent burials so the cemetery information is not complete. Return to the Table of Contents Descriptive Summary Creator Bixby, William K., 1857-1931 Title The William Keeney Bixby Papers Identification: Return to the Table of Contents Biographical Note After several years in St. Louis, William McMillan, president of the Missouri Car and Foundry Company, offered the rapidly rising young man a still better job. Within the now-traditional year he again attracted signal attention to himself. His employers had made a ruinous contract for the purchase of pig iron and by his direct honesty Bixby renegotiated the contract, making a long-range, profitable ally for his company. At the age of thirty-one he became vice-president and general manager. Soon the company became such a large factor in freight-car building that it found it advantageous to merge with the Peninsular Car Company, the first step in a series of mergers out of which came the American Car and Foundry Company, of which Bixby became President, and soon thereafter was elected chairman of the board. At the age of forty-eight, in 1905, he retired.

John Wilkinson married Christina Duskey and I know of only two of their children ; George H . Wilkinson and Samuel Paxton Wilkinson . With the exception of John , they moved to Gibson County Indiana and Spencer County Indiana . I have no idea what happened to John . Would appreciate any help with these family names .
