Donald Trump might be the best candidate for the Reform Party orget Gore vs. Bradley. Bush vs. McCain? No way. Agha Hasan Abedi (?-1995)

The conventional definition of management is getting work done through people, but real management is developing people through work.
Bella Abzug (1920-1998)
One thing that crystallized for me like nothing else this year is that Congress is a very unrepresentative institution....These men in Congress represent their own point of viewby reason of their sex, background, and class.
She [a woman politician] will be challenging a system that is still wedded to militarism and that saves billions of dollars a year by underpaying women and using them as a reserve cheap labor supply.
John Emerich Edward Dalberg, Lord Acton (1834-1902)
Everything secret degenerates; nothing is safe that does not bear discussion and publicity.
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end.
The most certain test by which we judge whether a country is really free is the amount of security enjoyed by minorities. Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Father calls me William, sister calls me Will, Mother calls me Willie, but the fellers call me Bill!
BILL HICKS WAS a friend. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in the flesh, but still feel as though I knew him intimately. Bill and I corresponded on a number of occasions. It was during this correspondence that I grew to love his acerbic comments, strategically timed so that, whenever I would misspell a word or two, I would hear from Bill. The beginning of wisdom is to call things by their right names.
