I am presently researching a biography on David Rockefeller. An overview of the book will soon be sent to a New York City agent for circulation among all the major publishing houses. Among the topics that will be covered is the role of British USA Round Table member Rep. Wayne Hays (Demo-Ohio) in "killing" the Reece Committee investigation of tax-exempt foundations, the disappearance of the research on the Rockefeller-funded Kinsey studies and the "disposal" threats made to Reece Investigator Norman Dodd by a lobbyist for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). In 1986, Hoover scholar Antony C. Sutton published his "magnum opus" - AMERICA'S SECRET ESTABLISHMENT: AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ORDER OF SKULL AND BONES. In his preface Sutton said he had been given an eight-inch batch of documents which was "nothing less than the membership lists of an American secret society. Glancing through the sheets it was more than obviousthis was no ordinary group. The names spelled Power with a capital P."

Captain William Badger , born 1 August 1826 in Gilmanton (now Belmont) married 3 June 1856 Hattie A., daughter of Colonel James Tilton until the war came.
A former captain of the Gilmanton Artillery Company attached to the 10th Regiment of New Hampshire Militia , Badger was made a state recruiting officer with the rank of captain. He was mustered into the federal service as a captain of the 4th New Hampshire Volunteers on 18 September 1861.
Although out of the army in 1864 and 1865, he was commissioned Colonel of the 4th New Hampshire Regiment on 21 February 1865, but the regiment was too small to muster a colonel, so he accepted a captaincy in the 9th New Hampshire Volunteer Regiment in General's corps.
He was commissioned a lietenant in the regular army in 1866 and was assigned to the 6th Regiment of U.S. Infantry. He was later breveted a captain in the regular army for "gallant and meritorious services during the war." He was stationed in the Indian Country.

INDEX This is an index of names and places presented throughout this book. Since there is much narrative included, this index attempts to organize the information in a way that is hopefully more beneficial to the reader. It includes names that are part of the “genealogy proper” as well as names within the narrative throughout the book that are not necessarily part of the genealogy or the lineages. Names in the genealogy proper can be discerned throughout the index as those with surnames in all-capitals and they usually include birth-death notations if available. The places and names in normal format are those included in the narrative of the book. There are some names that appear in both and are listed as such.
