This interface was created for American Express Financial Services' Community Information Exchange. This feature of their corporate intranet allowed various community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce and Alumni Associations access to specialized services provided by American Express Financial Advisors. We were hired by KnowledgeFlow, of Bridgeport, Pa., to create and design the user interface.Annica Entertainment was an up and coming independent film studio based in Tempe, Arizona with high ambitions. We started with a total redesign of their corporate identity. Soon after we focused our talents on their company site. We have created dozens of award winning sites over a two and a half year span for ASC Games, attracting a large online audience for such properties as Jeff Gordon XS Racing, GTA, Werewolf the Apocalypse, and Sanitarium. Each individual site focused on three main goals for success; to build anticipation in ASC properties, to educate the audience about the specific products, and to strengthen the overall ASC brand with the consumer. Rapid-City Communications was on the bleeding edge of gigabit router and switching technology. In late 1997 and less than a year old, Rapid-City was acquired by Bay Networks, who later merged with Nortel Networks. We designed the original web site and other print collateral that helped define the company, explain their products and establish their brand in the emerging gigabit marketplace. Dexpo is the online dental marketplace; a "virtual dental meeting" if you will. It provides dental professionals the convenience of online shopping and a of a large selection of promotions on new and name brand products, industry exclusive buy/get promotions; as well as free samples and product literature. Simply put we did everything, from redesigning and branding their corporate identity, to developing and producing their complete web presence. Next, we focused on spreading the word, by creating three print campaigns, a targeted six month direct marketing push and of course their complete corporate marketing collateral. Add to that various sales brochures, exhibit collateral, weekly email newsletters and other viral marketing all of which was completed in less than a year. Whew, let?s just say, we?ve been busy and better yet, very successful at getting the message to their audience EBWorld is the online store of Electronics Boutique; one of the world's premier specialty retailers in the fast-growing, fast-changing industry of electronic games and accessories. Because of our knowledge of this industry and its audience, we were brought in to develop a branding campaign for EBWorld that differentiates them from their competition. The campaign launched just last month so it is too early to have feedback based on impact. But we are sure that it will be positive. e-Chemicals is the supply chain backbone for the chemical industry. It allows users the ability to leverage the power of the Internet to effectively manage the chemical industry supply chain. Devon Digital tapped in to our skills to develop a clean front-end for this e-commerce site, which includes an interactive flash demo, to educate new users on the features and functionality of the site. HCA is a direct marketing company that sells hosiery. We were chosen to create a direct marketing site used to promote their product by giving away a free sample to all sign-ups. This site was one of three that a first time viewer would randomly see coming to the Silkies site, enabling HCA to gather marketing data on the effectiveness of their online promotions. Of the competing sites for click-throughs, ours took the top position in lead generation and sign-ups soon after its debut. Frontier Media Group, of Malvern, PA, hired us to design a web site for IKON Office Solutions. The goal of the site was to build upon the strengths of the IKON brand by educating their audience about the various services they offered. Being a daily visitor to the preeminent mac gaming resource on the web over the past few years, we couldn?t help but write to Mike @ MGL and offer our services. His mac gaming content is, hands down, the best on the planet, but his site was sorely lacking impact. We started by redesigning the identity and then creating a portal site where gamers, from old school to hardcore, will find everything they ever wanted to know about their favorite gaming platform and where to buy it. Keep a look out because this is just the beginning of great things for MGL, [anonymous] and other third party companies. Radiofutura.com is an up-and-coming internet-based music service focused exclusively on Latin and Brazilian music. Based on our experience with other startups, Radiofutura.com chose anonymous to design their corporate identity and develop their web presense. theRemote identity and web site were created to promote Tim Testa also known as "the Computer Guy" from The Knowledge Channel. The goal was to build a site that mimicked television programming through web based content that would be released weekly. Very forward thinking for this medium, since most of this work was done in 1997. Although the site never lived up to its potential keep a look out for theRemote in the future because all good ideas usually come back around. And we know that Tim is just the person to pull it off! This web site was created for Reunion Records, America's foremost Christian record label, and home to such top-selling artists as Michael W. Smith and Carolyn Arends. New Media Design of Denver, CO., hired us to develop the look and feel of the site. Sanchez Computer Associates, leaders in the high-end banking software industry, needed a strong image to convey their brand for future trade show exhibitions. The mural that we created went on to become the foundation of an entirely new re-branding effort for the company. [anonymous], with direction from I-Frontier, created a rich media banner called the "Allergy Organ". The goal was to drive allergy sufferers to sign-up for an allergy alert email. As you mouse over the graphic you see and hear a different person sneezing simultaneously at different pitches, thus creating a humorous and unique instrument both visually and melodically. This campaign was targeted at broadband users on the @ Home Network and has since been featured in many publications for its creativity and above industry average CPM. It is still one of the most requested stories as to how we landed Shiny in the first place (ask us sometime). During our two-year tenure together we created many award-winning sites to promote their products. Hey, it?s not all about web design though, as a new start up, we convinced David Perry that we were talented enough to develop product identities, print advertising and other marketing collateral. The beauty about Shiny is that they understand creativity and how it goes a long way to building a strong, quality brand that will move products. Summit provides consulting services, network integration and Linux-based training among other things. This was the case of a mid-size company who needed the whole package. We helped them build their brand from the ground up. It started with an evaluation of their competition and identifying their audience. With information in hand, we set out to build a strong campaign positioning them in the marketplace. We targeted their web presence and created various sales and marketing collateral to educate new clients. Then we did what all good agencies should do, we looked at their core competencies and noticed that they lacked focused training and we recommended that they go heavy into the "Linux" training arena. They did, and there has been no looking back since then. During the 1998 Christmas rush we got a call from Sunstorm Interactive, the makers of the Deer Hunter series. They asked if we could redesign and build their site for them by years end. "Of course we can do it" we replied. Some nifty javascript here, and some great design there, couple that with a three week turn around and violá a spiffy new site that educates their audience about their products and company history. Total Containment wanted to launch a branding campaign around their EnviroFlex product line. We developed a print and direct marketing campaign that targeted suppliers and customers. The award winning campaign was very successful and has been noted as a key element in turning the company around. Hmm. Where to start? You know, it's never easy to talk about yourself. Will we sound too overbearing? Too confident? What if we say too little, there by saying nothing? Or worse, too much and, as the wise man once said, "prove to everyone that we're fools?" We're designers. Marketers. Communicators. We take products & services (like yours) and present them to the world in effective, compelling ways that work. That's not a question. But really, design is just one part of what we do. Our understanding of marketing, and how to support it with design, is what produces results. Communicating over the Internet is an important part of what we do. But mostly, we're media agnostics. That is, we don't think that one medium (like the Web) is the answer to every company's marketing problems. That's why we also use print advertising ... collateral ... trade show materials ... emails ... you name it. Whatever it takes to deliver your message to your audience. You mean the name? We want to focus on building your brand ... your company ... your products ... your services. Not ours. We merely look upon ourselves as an anonymous middle-man who just happens to know a hell of a lot about effective design & marketing. We're in a beautiful little town outside of Philadelphia. But through the magic of the Internet, we can be anywhere you need us to be. Yes, if you want to stand out from the crowd. Yes, if being "on target", "on time" and "on budget" are important to you. Yes, if you believe in the power of smart design and effective marketing. | |
