In the early 1990s some students who wanted a break from study approached a geography lecturer about travelling and working in Eastern Europe. Not finding any opportunities for this kind of travel combined with work experience, the lecturer set about arranging for his students to go and teach English in Moldova, where he knew some fellow academics. This was how our company began in 1992.
Throughout the year we hold a number of open days, giving you the chance to come along and find out more about spending time as a volunteer on one of our programmes. It's an opportunity to meet our staff, as well as some volunteers who have recently returned from overseas, and to talk face to face about being a volunteer with us. | |
