What is a Professional Doula /
Labor Support Provider?
The word doula is from the Greek, literally, a woman who helps other women. A doula is many things; above all, she a woman who assists another woman and her partner during labor and provides support to her, the infant, and the family after childbirth. A doula is a professional care provider who understands and trusts the process of birth, who respects its physical and emotional aspects as well as its transcendent and sacred aspects, and who facilitates the birth experience for parents, baby, and primary care providers. Doulas provide continuous, uninterrupted care for the laboring woman and her partner, and help them participate fully in their experience by offering physical and emotional support and information about the birth process, available technology, and alternatives. A doula in private practice typically meets with the woman or couple prenatally, goes to their home in early labor, and accompanies them throughout labor and delivery in the setting of their choice. Many doulas also do follow-up visits during the important early postpartum period, when most families are otherwise left alone.

Time Off
Chosen by Congress, in the eighteenth century, as the midpoint between the northern and southern states, the capital takes its name from its proximity to George Washington's home at Mount Vernon, just across the Potomac River. A city of lush green parks, broad tree-lined avenues and magnificent marble buildings and memorials, the capital's scarcity of skyscrapers set it apart from other American cities infusing it with an older, more European aspect. It attracts around twenty million visitors each year and, unusually, admission is free to virtually all the major attractions. A great many of the most famous are located close to each other in the Mall, Constitution Avenue and Jefferson Drive area.

Hi!! Welcome to Bethel #46's Web Site!! It's still under construction but it's coming along well I think! My name is Amber-lee Klug (this site's Web Master) and I am a member of the International Order of Job's Daughters. You may be asking yourself what that is, so, let me explain. This is an organization dedicated to teaching young Women between the ages of 11 and 20 who are related to Master Masons, the virtues of a womanly life. It instills love for God and Country, respect for Parents and Guardians and other skills to help them on their journey through life. A very needed thing in our world today. 51. A Brief History Of Washington City
He had them build the Cotton Factory in washington, starting in 1865. He called309 families in 1861 to come and augment the cities along the Virgin, stated
http://www.washingtoncity-ut.net/about.html
A Brief History of Washington City The Cotton Mission Thousands of people left their homes to come to Northern Utah to find a new life, and to live the religion of their choice. Arriving exhausted and ill, having hastily buried hundreds of loved ones along the way, they started their new lives. From this weary group, Brigham Young asked thirty-eight (38) families, all from the southern states, to travel to Southern Utah to grow cotton. These southerners were from Mississippi, Alabama, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee and the Carolinas. This was the Cotton Mission, or sometimes called the Southern Mission. Washington City was the first town established in the Virgin basin for the purpose of colonizing the land so that cotton could be grown. "Grow cotton," he challenged them, knowing that war between the North and South would soon erupt. Cotton would not be available for use by these Utah pioneers. This directive was given to people who had left the fertile South to make their trek to Utah. They knew how to grow cotton, or at least had seen it grown. These families were the forerunners of what would become known as "Utah's Dixie" so named by these stalwart Southerners, who were no doubt homesick for the lives they had left behind. The name spread to the surrounding areas known as "Utah's Dixie" today.
