Deep Griha has had a volunteer program in place since 1981. It has evolved considerably over the years, and even though Deep Griha has grown as an organization, the friendly atmosphere for the volunteers has been maintained. Deep Griha offers volunteers a variety of opportunities; upon arrival new volunteers are introduced to the different projects within the slums and villages, and once they have learned about the nature of work at these projects, volunteers are given the freedom to decide which project they feel they can contribute to most effectively. The following is a list of jobs available in general to all volunteers, which may help you decide if you want to volunteer with us.
