Sushi Bar Voc abulary
A special vocabulary is reserved for sushi bars in Japan. Soy sauce is refered to as murasaki ("purple") instead of the normal shoyu . This is because most sushi restaurants have their own house sauce. When asking for tea after the meal, ask for agari ("finished") instead of the normal ocha . Normally the vinegared ginger slices are refered to as sushoga ("vinegared ginger"), but at the sushi bar it is called gari . Wasabi is shortened to sabi and sometimes if it is really strong it is called namida ("tears"). Green Tea
Green tea is the national beverage of Japan. The Japanese word is ocha. In Japan, the tea ritual is a religion, part of the Zen Buddhism's the "Way of Tea". What makes Japanese tea "green" is the processing. Once the leaves of the tea bushes are picked, they are immediately steamed. This prevents the leaves from turning black so the result is green tea. Sa ke
Sake is the general word for all alcoholic beverages as well as the national alcoholic beverage of Japan. Pure water and high-quality rice are the two requirements for good sake. Sake is made by injecting a special mold (aspergillus oryzae) into steamed white rice. The rice is fermented and then refined. The process takes about 45 to 60 days from start to finish. There is no aging. It is considered best to drink within 3 months of bottling.

    Vocabulary Instruction

Vocabulary refers to the words we must know to communicate effectively. In general, vocabulary can be described as oral vocabulary (the words we use in speaking or recognize when listening) or reading vocabulary (the words we recognize or use in print). Vocabulary plays an important part in learning to read. As beginning readers, children use the words they have heard to make sense of the words they see in print. They have a much more difficult time reading words that are not already part of their oral vocabulary. Vocabulary is also very important to reading comprehension. Readers cannot understand what they are reading without knowing what most of the words mean. As children learn to read more advanced texts, they must learn the meaning of new words that are not part of their oral vocabulary. Here are some of the highlights from the evidence-based research on vocabulary instruction:
    • Children learn the meanings of most words indirectly, through everyday experiences with oral and written language.

The Episcopal Church has a long tradition, and over that time has inherited, created, or retained many words that might not be familiar to visitors (or even to some of our regulars). These special terms, though confusing at first, are part of our rich heritage. Some of these words and phrases are more common in other parishes than at Good Shepherd. Overview
This document specifies a vocabulary for describing projects independently of the project domain (e.g. software product development, fundraising, painting the garage). The intended architecture is primarily goal-oriented, that a project will consist of goals which may be broken down into subgoals and may be satisfied by completing a set of associated tasks. The vocabulary is constructed using the Resource Description Framework (RDF) and the Web Ontology Language (OWL). It may be used in conjunction with other RDF vocabularies such as FOAF or as an RSS 1.0 module. The schema is provided in RDF/XML (other syntaxes to follow). Its ontological definition is in the OWL DL sublanguage. This is a work-in-progress, a practical application is being developed for evaluation of the vocabulary. Please post comments here or mail me OWL Ontology - should be usable now, most terms are relatively stable though additional constraints (corresponding to the prose description below) are likely to be added.

Eventual mixed derivative terms are transferred to the right-hand side. Both and are tridiagonal matrices. Hence, the split-operator system can be solved in a non-iterative, or implicit manner as a sequence of two simple systems of equations. A pre-requisite for convergence is, that must be a good approximation to . This is for example the case for transport equations, in which the time-step is not too large. In 3D, A is split in three parts, stability issues have been reported for 3D.
    • Block-structured mesh = Multiblock mesh, in which each mesh-block is structured . Meshes, consisting of a single, logically connected block of cells has severe limitations in the modelling of the physical geometry. If the mesh needs to be refined in boundary layers, etc., only extremely simple geometries can be handled in a single mesh-block. In principle, there are two alternative departures from the single-block structured mesh. Either, one composes the mesh of a number of structured blocks, or one employs an unstructured mesh most often consisting of triangular cells in 2D or tetrahedral cells in 3D, connected in a more or less structured formation, which may appear more natural for very complex geometries. In a block-structured mesh, the computational domain is subdivided into a number of geometrical blocks, each with a simpler shape than the entire domain. The computational mesh in each block normally consists of
