A recipient of an IBM Reinventing Education Grant, Vermont was awarded a three-year, $2M grant to provide hardware where it is needed and to develop technological tools for teachers' use in scoring student portfolios and developing curriculum units The state helps create regional consortia of schools and organizations that provide assistance on technology.
