About Us
Education and Training Good land use planning and regulation requires on-going training for all involved in the process All local officials need to be familiar with the topics covered in the Basic Curriculum. Once the basic curriculum is mastered, Continuing Education should be sought on a wide range of topics following a planning track and/or a development review track, depending on the role you play in the planning process. Workshops Training workshops and conferences are conducted by a number of organizations in Vermont. These organizations are currently collaborating through the Land Use Education and Training Collaborative, providing training in the subjects shown on the curriculum as well as training on current planning and regulatory topics. This comprehensive training program does not yet exist but is in the works. The calendar shows all the upcoming education and training events available to local land use officials in Vermont.
