About Snow College
Welcome to Snow College! We are located 120 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah, in the beautiful Sanpete Valley. Our institution was founded in 1888 as an academy for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We operated under the direction of the L.D.S. First Presidency until 1932 when we became a state institution.
As a two year state college, excellence continues to be the hallmark of all our work and activities. We are the preferred choice of approximately 3,000 students who want a small college experience filled with performance and service opportunities. Our residential campus in Ephraim offers outstanding academic transfer programs and limited applied technology programs. Our south campus, located in Richfield, Utah, offers a broad array of excellent applied technology programs and limited academic transfer programs in high demand fields of study. Both campuses are noted for graduates who have excelled in their areas of study.
Snow College attracts quality people. The faculty, staff, and students are exceptional. I invite you to come and experience Snow. Let our family serve you. About Utah State University
Just over a century ago Cache Valley settlers had a dream—a lofty dream of bringing education to the rural masses, an almost unheard of idea at the time. With high hopes and scarce resources patched together from pioneer thrift, the Agricultural College of Utah opened its doors in 1888 to a handful of students.
The “AC” was created through the Morrill Act of 1862, which sought to provide a democratic education nationwide, to be Utah’s land-grant institution, a charter that has led to groundbreaking research and global dissemination of those findings.
Today, Utah State University welcomes nearly 22,000 students each year to its main campus in Logan and to time-enhanced learning centers throughout the state. Since 1989, nearly 4,500 students have received degrees through the University’s distance education component. Whereas students could choose from five majors or career options in 1888, today’s students select from 230 options offered in 45 departments housed in seven colleges: Agriculture, Business, Education, Engineering, Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, Natural Resources, and Science.

However, its very nature creates the potential for danger. A recent survey revealed that 1 in 5 teens has received an unwanted online request to engage in sexual activities or provide sexual information. One in 4 has been exposed to online pornography. To Report a Crime What should I do if:
  • someone in my home receives an e-mail or file that contains child pornography? my child has been sexually solicited by someone who knows that my child is under 18? my child has received sexually explicit messages from someone who knows that my child is under 18?
