Other Useful Links General Information Established on 2 December 1971, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a federation of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi , Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qaiwan, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
