Manitou Opera House The Manitou Opera House, built in 1930 with Arts and Crafts influenced architecture, has a proscenium stage, a partially sloped auditorium, and a four-step balcony. The house holds 385 patrons for concerts and will seat 100 for small banquets. Owned by the Town of Manitou, the Opera House is managed by the Opera House Management Committee, a group of community volunteers. General Theatre Information
Late seating policy.
Please arrive on time! In consideration of our audience, latecomers will not be seated until the first suitable pause in the show and will be seated toward the rear of the auditorium until intermission. Shows start promptly, so check your tickets for performance times. Evening performances begin at 8:00 p.m. (except for Sundays). Sunday evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 p.m. Please remember to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to curtain time.
Children must be at least 4 years old to attend.
What's more, for the comfort of our audience in the theatre, everyone must have a ticket - even small children.
