Edit Your Page I am researching all sides of my family branches. Some have moved along well and others have been brick walls. I will continue to work on them for as long as I can. Sooner or later I will remove the bricks in the wall. I have patience. I will remove the walls, one brick at a time.
My Norman D. McLeod family wall has been hard. I have traced him back to his parents, Anne Cleugh and Donald McLeod and to Duncan McLeod and Margaret but I cannot get back any further. This family was in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
My other brick wall is our Ulrich family. I can only trace them to Nebraska and maybe Iowa. This one is slow going.

V t me v s(Welcome)
My research is focused most strongly on Czechs and Moravians and their descendants in the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th Century, particularly those whose families immigrated to Texas in the 19th Century.
The GEDCOM that can be accessed below as an HTML file contains more than 9,500 individuals. About 3,000 of them have Czech or Moravian surnames (about 400 of which are still living in the Czech Republic), and many are European royalty and early American settlers. The database also links European royalty to Biblical individuals back to Adam and Eve (using material from the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles).
Here are some links for those researching

Review a working list of cemeteries in Williamson County . These cemeteries, and those interred, appear in a four volume set of unpublished books produced by the Williamson County Historical Commission . On May 6, 1999, the Commission granted me permission to put them online at this web site. This will be a major data entry project. As information from each cemetery is completed it will be posted. Searching for your Hispanic Ancestors, join our club and find out how with our help!
Our Hispanic Genealogical Club was formed to help foster Knowledge, Training, Help and Pride in the Search of Our Ancestors.
We offer Data Bases on families of Northern Mexico, South Texas, California, and New Mexico.
Monthly business meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Loma Linda Restaurant at 2111 Telephone Road in Houston at 6:30 PM. Various projects for the coming month are discussed, we have a show and tell session, and a speaker usually has a message on Genealogy for the society. We offer help to new members searching for their ancestors but the biggest advantage is the networking effort within our group and the various Hispanic genealogical groups in Texas, California, Northern Mexico and now with the internet members from around the world. We started in 1983 with about 20 members and now with the advent of the internet we have grown to around 300 members world wide. There are members from as far away as Homer, Alaska to the north; San Juan, Puerto Rico to the east; San Francisco, California to the west;and Mexico City, DF, Mexico to the south.
Funds raised though conventions, memberships, and book sales go to purchase Hispanic Genealogy books, data bases and are donated to the Clayton Library for Genealogical Research, here in Houston, Texas.

The Links page will be dedicated to internet sources of history and genealogy for the south texas area. South texas History and genealogy Links Page.
http://home.granderiver.net/~rlblack/home.html
Welcome everyone, from hot south Texas. My name is Robert Black and my wife is Nora. We have two beautiful daughters named Lindsey and Kasey. We live in a very small south Texas town called Mirando City . It is located 32 miles east of Laredo, Texas.
GENEALOGY is our hobby. This page is dedicated to the search for our ancestors and as the title of this page suggests, also assisting anyone interested in genealogy in south Texas. When we say south Texas, we are concentrating our search for people that lived in Texas basically south of San Antonio, but we don't want to place any limitations on our page. We will accept surnames or queries from anyone, but the majority of our ancestors lived in south Texas. This area is rich in history and ought to make for a interesting search for ancestors. To assist others in their search for ancestors from south Texas, we have started our South Texas Surname Page and a South Texas History and Genealogy Links page. On the surname page you can enter the surnames of your family that lived in south Texas and include your e-mail address so that others researching the same surnames can get in touch with you. The Links page will be dedicated to internet sources of history and genealogy for the south Texas area. Any suggestions for links would be greatly appreciated. Check out our other home pages.

BillyandDebbie's Homepage Welcome to Our Virtual Home! If I am online on Yahoo! Messenger, just send me a line. Welcome to  our homepage.  Let you know a little about us, and our now 8 year old son(I need to get new pictures on this website).  We live in Arlington,  Texas, and have been married for the past TEN years.  Our son, Zachary, is an outgoing, athletic (unlike me, his Dad)  kid with great intelligence.  Okay, I know what you are thinking, every parent thinks that about their child, but to know Zachary is to see the truth.  I am a Welfare Fraud Investigator for the Office of Inspector General in the Texas Department of Human Services.  I have worked for the Agency for the past TEN years, but worked as an Investigator for the past FIVE.  It is an extremely enjoyable job, every Republican's fantasy I assure you, but it is no longer mine.  It also opens your eyes to the problems faced by everyday people, especially single mothers.  Instead of making me more negative towards the poor, it has made me more compassionate towards single parents, and less so towards unsupportive fathers.  You also meet interesting people, like one lady named her child Placenta , but that is another story. I RECENTLY GOT A JOB AS A HISTORY TEACHER AT A CHARTER SCHOOL IN DALLAS. I HAVE WANTED TO BE A TEACHER SINCE THE 6TH GRADE, NOW I GET MY CHANCE! Pray for patience.
