http://www.giftedandtalented.org
Dear Friends,
Welcome to our fourteenth year of summer camps for the gifted student in Charlotte, North Carolina.
We have provided challenging and innovative programs for both academically and artistically advanced youngsters, since 1985. The Gifted and Talented Development Center was founded in 1978 by Carole Berman , in Bronxville, New York, where it continues to thrive and grow.
The programs in Charlotte are located on the charming campus of Queens College , a small private University in the heart of the gracious Myers Park neighborhood.
In addition to our day and residential summer camps, the Center operates licensed Monart Drawing Schools, both on campus and in two satellite locations, year-round.
Last summer we were proud to serve over five hundred students, ranging in age from five through sixteen. Teen camps attracted students from all over the United States.
We invite you to explore our program offerings on this Homepage. You may now register for classes on-line, with a credit card. If you prefer, call us at We look forward to hearing from you.
