News and Information To all Gulf Swimming Coaches On Monday June 28 th , TWST is hosting a seminar concerning the drug and dietary supplement use among athletes. This seminar is limited to TWST swimmers and parents, but TWST has invited all Gulf Swimming Coaches to attend. The team is picked as follows: There are seven (7) boys and girls from the 11-12 and 13-14 age groups, and ten (10) from the 15-18 age group. Swimmers are scored only on the events offered for that age group at the Zones Meet. Every application is scored for all the events offered to the age group. Points are awarded based on the following scale: AA Time= 1 (25 points) AAA Time= 2 (50 points) AAAA Time= 4 (100 points) Top 16 Time= 6 (150 points) The total points awarded in the swimmer's top five events are added to arrive at the swimmer's score.

West Hollywood Aquatics (WH O) is a masters swimming and water polo club based in West Hollywood, California. The club currently has a roster of over 190 members including gay, lesbian, and straight athletes and fitness enthusiasts from all over the Greater Los Angeles area. WH O grew out of a group of swimmers training for Gay Games I in 1982. After returning from the Games, the participants started the West Hollywood Swim Club which later was changed to incorporate Water Polo and was renamed West Hollywood Aquatics. WH O is one of the founding members of International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics ( IGLA ) and is sanctioned by United States Masters Swimming ( USMS ) and United States Water Polo ( USWP ).
