1) Congressional Research Service (CRS) reports
(Congress) CRS uses taxpayer dollars to produce reports on public policy issues ranging from foreign affairs to agriculture to health care. All of the reports are posted online, but access is available only to congressional offices through an intranet system. Citizens can order paper copies of the reports through their Member of Congress, but only by mail. Moreover, the general public cannot search through past reports, and a comprehensive index of the reports is not available online. (Some Members have posted some CRS reports online.) In the CDT/OMB survey, the CRS reports were the category of documents most frequently listed sought after by researchers, students, librarians, government employees, and citizens alike. Instead, the Court refers people to one or more of 10 different unofficial Web sites, which publish various subsets of opinions, updated with varying frequency. While Court officials have said that they are exploring the possibility of creating a Web site, there is no official source of information from the highest court in the land. In addition to opinions, the Court should post briefs, at least in cases accepted for oral argument.

This is an initiative by ATF in its continuing effort to combat violent crime in cooperation with other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. In the past, ATF has successfully utilized other mediums to advertise wanted persons, and now, with the advent of the Internet, ATF is seizing the opportunity to employ Internet subscribers in this endeavor. The following ATF wanted persons are the result of ATF criminal investigations, often in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, that resulted in the issuance of a federal arrest warrant. Most wanted no more
Good afternoon. Yesterday, December the 13th, at around 8:30 p.m. Baghdad time, United States military forces captured Saddam Hussein alive. He was found near a farmhouse outside the city of Tikrit, in a swift raid conducted without casualties. And now the former dictator of Iraq will face the justice he denied to millions. I also have a message for all Americans: The capture of Saddam Hussein does not mean the end of violence in Iraq. We still face terrorists who would rather go on killing the innocent than accept the rise of liberty in the heart of the Middle East. Such men are a direct threat to the American people, and they will be defeated. Steven Taylor James Joyner Claude Salhani Dean Esmay ... The Corner also provided a few dozen interesting news links, including this (shockingly positive) photo gallery from the BBC. Robert Tagorda assessed Operation Red Dawn and argued that Iraqis see justice at work. Instead of torturing, beating, or unfairly badgering the detainee, coalition experts perform a comprehensive DNA examination. They go as far as to check him for head lice and shave his beard. We appear humane and Saddam defeated. The President sets aside triumphalism and extends appropriate congratulations to both the Iraqis and the armed forces. Predictably, the far left does not see justice at work, and their reaction was predictably spastic.
