Nielsen Tennis Stadium (NTS) was donated to the University in 1968 by Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nielsen, Sr. Ranked by the USTA as one of the finest tennis facilities in the country, more than 800 students, faculty and staff players use this facility on a weekly basis. NTS features 12 indoor tennis courts and 6 squash racquet courts (including one doubles squash court). The stadium has shower and locker areas as well as upper-level seating for more than 1,500 people. The indoor courts plus 6 outdoor tennis courts are available on a reservation basis with priority given to students and faculty/staff. Fees are assessed to cover operational costs.
Nielsen Tennis Stadium Is Not Subsidized By Student Segregated Fees.

Reservation Procedure
UW Students and Faculty/Staff may make reservations 3 days in advance, other students and spouses of UW Students/Faculty/Staff may make 2 day advance reservations. Call (608) 262-0410 after 7:45 a.m. to make reservations. Telephone reservations will alternate with reservations made in person. A subsequent reservation may not be made until the previous reservation has been played. A reservation will be held for 10 minutes past the scheduled start time, after that other players will be permitted to reserve the court.
