KSC Interactive Map Visitor Complex Overview Tours Attractions ... Directions to KSC The KSC Visitor Complex is a great place to visit. It's a lot of fun and I learn something new everytime. With a national interest for the space program finally back on the rise, it's great to have a place to inspire people of all ages.
Benjamin S- Tampa, FL Kennedy Space Center is NASA's launch headquarters, the home of the Space Shuttle program and one of the only places in the world where humans have launched into space - the only place where humans have left to go to the Moon. Today, this is where the Space Shuttle is prepped for flight, launched and landed. Unmanned rockets are also launched from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, whose payloads have included communication satellites, rovers bound for Mars and interplanetary explorers. Kennedy Space Center is one of several NASA centers that perform vital tasks for the space program. Others include Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, and Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The responsibilities range from astronaut training to mission operations and important research functions. To ensure that these centers are constantly working together, NASA recently announced an initiative called One NASA that encompasses how NASA accomplishes challenging projects through all of the centers. A One NASA approach emphasizes a unified strategic plan, a strong commitment to teamwork, and tools and capabilities for greater collaboration across the Agency.

On Truth and Reality
The Metaphysics of Space and Motion and the Wave Structure of Matter (WSM)
By Philosopher of Science, Metaphysics Geoff Haselhurst Biography Bibliography (Updated: March 2004)
And those whose hearts are fixed on Reality itself deserve the title of Philosophers Plato , Republic, 380BC ) Metaphysics is universal and is exclusively concerned with primary substance . And here we will have the science to study that which is, both in its essence and in the properties which, just as a thing that is, it has. That among entities there must be some cause which moves and combines things. There must then be a principle of such a kind that its substance is activity Aristotle Reality cannot be found except in One single source , because of the interconnection of all things with one another. ... It is a good thing to proceed in order and to establish propositions (principles). This is the way to gain ground and to progress with certainty. ... I hold that the mark of a genuine idea is that its possibility can be proved, either a priori by conceiving its cause or reason , or a posteriori when experience teaches us that it is a fact in nature . (Gottfried Leibniz, 1670)

Data Center Exchange is an e-marketplace that brings together buyers and sellers (and landlords and tenants) of Internet data centers. Data center operators can use this site to market facilities and vacant space, while buyers can search our listings and identify promising properties. Best of all, it's confidential.
Driving the process is the Data Center Exchange database, which provides the key specs needed to evaluate a site, but allows owners to remain confidential.
The signup process is easy. New users can create an account by choosing a username and password - that's all there is to it. Return users can log in now
The database allows data center owners and operators to manage their own listings, while browsers can search by city, square footage and numerous other criteria.

The History of Space Flight
Humankind has sought to answer the complex questions of self and origin by looking not inward but outward. We have gazed at the heavens and wondered who we are and where are we going. The history of humankind's quest for answers is now inextricably tied to our efforts to leave this earth and explore beyond the confines of our fragile world. My recent studies have lead me to the histories of space flight. Since it is timely, I have begun with a survey of NASA's Project Apollo, as mandated by President Kennedy in 1961. Here you will find a collage of information about the Apollo program and its missions, as well as information and links about other manned space flight and rocketry in general.

Mu Center
The Uchinoura Space Center (USC) launches sounding rockets and scientific satellites and also manages tracking and data.
This space center was established in Uchinoura, Kagoshima prefecture, in 1962 as part of the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, when the original facility in Iwaki, Akita prefecture, was closed down. In 1964, the space center became part of the Institute of Space and Aeronautical Science, University of Tokyo; in 1981 it became an independent research facility, the Kagoshima Space Center (KSC), attached to the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS). Its name was changed to the Uchinoura Space Center (USC) when the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) was formed.
More than 360 rockets and 23 satellites and probes have been launched from the Kagoshima Space Center since Japan’s first satellite, "Osumi," was launched in 1970. Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC) launches satellites for weather, broadcasting, and communications, while the USC’s main launches are for scientific purposes, such as astronomical survey satellites and planetary probes. These satellites and probesAKEBONO, YOHKOH, GEOTAIL, HALCA, NOZOMI, and HAYABUSAare currently on their missions. Also, sounding rockets, such as the S-310 and the S-510, have been launched to conduct research on the middle atmosphere and on space plasma.

Yoshinobu Launch Complex
The Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC) was established in 1969, when the original National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) was formed. It is the largest space-development facility in Japan (8,600,000 square meters) and is located in the south of Kagoshima Prefecture, along the southeast coast of Tanegashima. It is known as the most beautiful rocket-launch complex in the world.
On-site facilities include the Takesaki Range (for small rockets), the Osaki Range (for J-I and H-IIA launch vehicles), the Masuda Tracking and Communication Station, the Nogi Radar Station, the Uchugaoka Radar Station, and optical observation facilities to the west. There are also related developmental facilities for test firings of liquid and solid-fuel rocket engines.
