Affordable Housing Programs increase home ownership possibilities by reducing the necessary down payment and costs. These programs are very specific and usually have some qualification criteria and restrictions that must be met in order to take advantage of these cost saving programs.
Check out some of the Affordable Housing Programs that we offer: First-Time Homebuyers National City Mortgage has a wide variety of mortgage loans created by national organizations such as Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, as well as State-Wide bond programs providing funding for households that meet certain income and/or residential qualifications. These loans offer the benefit of a low down payment and a low interest rate. If you have good credit, but have difficulty with the requirements of standard mortgages, ask us about special first-time home buyer financing and education programs.

Checklist for Non-USC Programs:
Listed below are some guidelines to help evaluate Non-USC Study Abroad Programs. This checklist is designed to help you focus upon program specifics, ensuring that the Non-USC program will best fit your goals and needs.
  • Sponsoring Institution
  • Who runs the program?
Another American university, a U.S.-based company, a foreign university?
  • Is the program accredited?

  • The program must issue an official transcript and your department must approve coursework in order to receive credit hours.
  • Who will issue the transcript? A U.S. or a foreign institution?
  • Courses and Enrollment
Would you enroll in classes at the foreign university, or are there special classes and facilities for the program? What classes are offered and who would be teaching them? Request course descriptions and syllabi from the institution. What is the language of instruction? If Non-English are there language requirements? Will you take classes with other students from your host country or will your classes include only international students?

The makeup of the student population will greatly influence your experience abroad. It is important to decide if you want a "mainly host country", "international", or a "mainly US" student makeup.
