Support South Carolina Rider Education Program The mission of the South Carolina Rider Education Program (SCREP) is to make available to motorcycle riders throughout the state a series of comprehensive motorcycle training courses designed to increase motorcycle safety on South Carolina's streets and highways. The program accomplishes this task by providing motorcycle safety courses for both novice and experienced riders and by increasing the public's awareness of motorcyclists on the road. Our goal is to enhance the riding experience of South Carolinians throughout the state by instructing riders how to manage their risk and increase their skills through riding and classroom instruction and to ultimately reduce the number of motorcycling accidents and fatalities. The program provides motorcycle rider safety education and training for riders of all skill levels. The program has a course for people who have never ridden a motorcycle and are interested in learning basic skills to riders who just want to sharpen their skills and share their experience with other riders. There is even a course for riders who want to hone their skills in preparation for taking the state motorcycle driver's license exam. In fulfilling this charter it has two major functions: (1) licensing physicians, physician assistants and respiratory care practitioners and regulating acupuncturists; and (2) investigating and disciplining physicians, physician assistants, respiratory care practitioners and acupuncturists found to be engaged in misconduct as defined by the Medical Practice Act.
