Program: Focus is on the policy process at the national level, initially by examining the organizational structure and behavior of the executive branch and then by examining substantive policy that emerges. Program: Study focuses on history, culture, and current socioeconomic and political issues in the Dominican Republic. Based in Santo Domingo, the program includes a practicum where students are placed in field settings to gain exposure to development issues and to participate in social service programs.
