the World Wide Web
The World Wide Web represents five different countries from around the world. It includes facts like geography, but goes one step further by stimulating contact between real people through pen-pal messageboards, electronic postcards and live chat. The team believes that simply introducing young generations to other traditions and cultures can help fight racism, a very important cause. In addition there are of course other benefits from knowing more about foreign countries. Hopefully this introduction will also stimulate the visitors to find out more, either by travel and first hand experience, or by looking for more on the web and in books. The entry welcomes anyone to contribute at any level, and is design to be able to incorporate these new contributions easily without any major changes.
