Soap making instructions: an easy way to make home made soaps, this is something even the kids can get involved in and really have fun!!
Whether your interests lie in money making or just for fun, soapmaking can be great fun for the whole family. There are two ways to go about making homemade soaps; you have CP or Cold Process Soap and you also have MP or Melt and Pour. MP is by far the easiest way and a better way for children to get involved in making soaps. I will touch on both methods of making soaps and well start out with Melt and Pour. This is a list of what you will need for MP soap: bodyOffer(26288) -MP Soap base -Microwavable bowl -Molds ( soap, candy or even jello molds, just about anything has the potential to be a good soap mold!!!) -Fragrance (make sure this is a fragrance that is compatible with skin, dont try candle scents or things of that nature unless you are sure they do not have any sort of allergic reactions to the person using the soap) -Alcohol in a spray bottle You can choose from a clear glycerine or an opaque (white), either MP is fine and it is totally

We are the Ivies, married for 9 years now. We have a nice home in the Brigham City area that we are having so much fun with. We have put in a large garden and several herb gardens. Our most recent projects are putting up anice 3foot rock wall with a gate around our garden to keep the furbabiesout. We also have plans of putting in a section of the garden to bea rock patio areawith a little pond and benches to relax and meditate in.We absolutely love living here. We are close to my family out here.We just bought this house in April of this syear. We put in an above ground pool this summer and we sure did enjoy it during the heat. We just recently finished putting in our fence around the front and it looks great. Many fun new projects ahead over the next couple of years. We are doing so much to our new home. We are wanting to finish the basement with a family room, pool table, rec room and of course an Ivies Herbal Soap shop room for me.
The business, Ivies Herbal is going to be placed in some select shops around our area besides our online store. We also are now doing wholesale accts as well as making up special requests for customers. We are having alot of fun making herbal creams, lotions and bath products, not to mention our wonderful incense we have. Some ask us when we are going to add candles to our line and we are looking at this over the next year. I am just about ready to put in the Baby line with all natural products for the baby. We are going to be adding the baby powder, lotion, bottom cream, salve and much more here over the next few months. Its been so much fun creating and making suchf un herbal products. This hobby really has become a big adventure in my life.

Enjoy this soap making recipe. Whether we choose to be an independent homesteader, or just enjoy crafts, making soap can be relaxing and fun.
We all need soap. It cleans and soothes our skin and makes us feel refreshed and renewed. You can find almost any type of soap, whether solid or liquid, in any type of store. But there are some who enjoy making their own, and the reasons for that range from a great feeling of self-sufficiency to relaxation through an enjoyable hobby. It is important to note that even though the process may be relaxing to some, it is not because it is incredibly easy, as you will see. bodyOffer(29328) All soap is made from at least three basic ingredients which are fat, water and lye. What makes soaps different is the types and amounts of the ingredients used. When you first begin making soap it is best to try one bar at a time, so you can experiment with adding scent and color. To make a single bar of soap you will need 1/2 cup of soft water (if you have hard water you can treat it with a commercial softener or add a pinch of borax to it), 2 heaping tablespoons of lye, and 1 cup of melted beef fat. The lye can usually be found in grocery or department stores and the fat can be obtained from the butcher. To prepare the fat cut it into small pieces, and over a low flame, heat it until it liquifies. After melting, strain it into a clean container.

Learning to make your own soap can be a rewarding and worthwhile experience. Not only does it teach a valuable skill that could come in handy during less than prosperous times, but I have found it to be a lot of fun. It is abundantly rewarding to use something like this that one has made himself. (Self reliance is a very good feeling.) I have also found that making my own soap from store bought raw materials is cheaper than buying it. My first bar lasted a month in the shower with my wife and myself using it - much longer than a store-bought bar of soap would have lasted.
