Q. What did the frog say when she made a mistake while sewing? A. Scan down to the bottom of the humorous quotes for the answer!
  • Asking a seamstress to mend is like asking Michaelangelo to paint your garage!
  • God put me on this Earth to sew and finish a certain number of things. I am so far behind now, I will never die!
  • A day hemmed in prayer seldom comes unravelled.

web hosting domain names email addresses Welcome to my Sewing Showcase. Here are a few of my favorite sewing projects!
We're expecting a baby boy around March 6th. This will be his coming home outfit. The smocking is a combination of two smocking plates from past Sew Beautiful magazines.
A close-up view of Timothy's smocked bubble.
For Christmas, I was surprised with an embroidery machine (the Disney PE-180D). My first "real" project has been burp cloths for Timothy.
Hannah and Jonathan's Christmas pictures (2002). Hannah's dress is Ginger Snaps Smocked jumper and the smocking is "Duck the Halls" by Little Memories.
A close-up of "Duck the Halls".
Hannah loves horseback riding now. She wanted a pony dress. This was my first attempt at coloring outside the lines. The smocking plate was supposed to be three white unicorns, but she wanted three horses to match her three favorite horses.
Close up of the pony smocking
This is my first attempt at a new jumper pattern. It's Ginger Snaps Jumper. I really like the style. This was also my first attempt at adding "wings" to my insert.
Close up of the Scottie Dog smocking
Hannah's baptism dress. It is made from a white polished cotton with a white organdy overlay. The smocking is from Sew Beautiful magazine.
