162. Wetlands Of The Great Lakes
Introduction to the landforms, hydrology, and ecology of the coastal wetlands of the lakes system, with links to more information and websites about plants, birds, shipwrecks, and related topics.
http://www.msue.msu.edu/iosco/wetlandshome.htm
Wetlands of the Great Lakes Home Page A Webfoot Page brought to you by Michigan Sea Grant and Michigan State University Extension. The coastal wetlands of Lake Huron consist of several types that have distinctive geomorphological features and hydraulic regimes. Most are connected to the main lake in one way or the other. When water levels are high, the wetland is flooded. When water levels are low, the wetland begins to dry up. It is this random cycle of ups and downs that create conditions in a Great Lakes wetland that are very different from an inland wetland. These web pages will take you on a tour of some Lake Huron wetlands and explain some of the features. For information on the details, see the book Wetlands of the Great Lakes. See the map below for Great Lakes wetlands of the United States greater than 40 acres.
A Typical Great Lakes Wetland
A Great Lakes wetland is any wetland directly connected to one of the Lakes, and experiences the same changes in water levels. A coastal wetland is any wetland that meets the above criteria

http://www.corlettmaritima.com/
Home Expedition Vessel Current Vacancies ... Contact Us Our Company C.A.M (Corlett Actividades Maritimas Limitada) is based on the island of São Tomé. The Company is a family concern. The prinicipal, born in the Isle of Man, comes from a long seafaring family, dating back to before the Vikings invaded the Isle of Man and has a maritime background from childhood. C.A.M. is involved with many marine projects and through our archaeologicial expedition project, in the waters of São Tomé and Principé, we are offering the opportunity for first hand involvement into the search and exploration of historical shipwrecks. Our expedition ship "R.S. Naomi Corlett" will be using the latest technology to search the sea-bed and below, to discover sunken ships, then dive to explore and document the never before visited sites. These waters around São Tomé and Principé have never before been explored with such intensity. We will be allowing small groups to participate in our expedition, divers or observers, the expedition will be filmed and documented, participants will be given a "certificate of participation" and a video recording of their involvement. An agreement of "non-disclosure" must be signed by all participants for security reasons.

165. Cutthroats
Capsule review. While not one of Infocom's best games, it is still entertaining to play, and as it offers two shipwrecks, the game is somewhat replayable.
http://www.matthewmurray.net/Reviews/ComputerGames/Cutthroats.html
Cutthroats (Infocom, 1984) An adventure game with an objective much different than that of typical adventure games, Cutthroats was a treasure hunt of a unique sort, as the treasure was beneath the waves. While most of the game did take place on dry land, there was quite a bit of plot, and a lot of color in the locales that made the game, and the characters it involved very believable. Though the dive for the treasure was exciting, it was certainly not the focus of the game, and not the most memorable part. While not one of Infocom's best games, it is still entertaining to play, and as it offers two shipwrecks (the divings of which are the only difference, as the rest of the plot remains the same), the game is somewhat replayable. Good if you enjoy real-life treasure hunts that are more "close-to-home" and present day than Infidel (though it is not as hard), Cutthroats is worth playing.
