For information about the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Norwich, and Norfolk, click on the link below, and look for churches in the menu bar: http://www.adventist.org.uk/ The county of Norfolk is perhaps best known as a picturesque destination for holiday makers, many of whom come to cruise "The Broads" in hired boats. The picturesque Broads provide a relaxing holiday. Norfolk has many links with the sea, not least of which is that Horatio Nelson, who won his place in naval history with his victory at Trafalgar, was born in the Norfolk village of Burnham Thorpe.

What Seventh-day Adventists NEED to know
Thanks for dropping by! No, this is not a 'hate website' directed against Seventh-day Adventists. I simply want to supply some important information that has been 'hidden' for a long time by the church and it's hierarchy, some things that you won't hear in the Doug Batchelor's "Millennium of Prophecy Seminar" or in Dwight Nelson's "NeXt Millennium Seminar" . It's as simple as that. If you'd like to know a little more about me and my former life as an SDA, please read My Testimony Click here to see Facts Seventh-day Adventists Won’t Tell You at Their Seminars
Before we get down to the facts of history I want you to understand this; the MOST important thing that Seventh-day Adventists need to know: is that Jesus Loves You!!! The 2nd MOST important thing that Seventh-day Adventists need to know is that your church has not told you the whole truth . Please take a look at the books and articles and links I have provided here. What you read may upset you but, please, don't be afraid of the truth. Pray that the Holy Spirit will open your heart and mind to what He wants you to know. God's 'Remnant' Church on Earth? Decide for yourself...

Preface to the Fourteenth Edition My Present Standing INTRODUCTION ... Tell us if you feel we have misrepresented E.G. White or SDA's Preface to the Fourteenth Edition From "Seventh-day Adventism Renounced" by D.M. Canright, 1914 Preface to Fourteenth Edition. "To criticise, expose and condemn others is not a pleasant task; but when religious teachers enthrone error, and mislead honest people, silence would be unkind and censurable." Being profoundly convinced that Seventh-Day Adventism is a system of error, I feel it my duty to publish what I know of it. I do it in the fear of God. Knowing the sorrow it has brought to my heart and to thousands, I must warn others against it. I do not question the honesty of the Adventists, but their sincerity does not sanctify their errors. I have had to speak plainly, but, I trust kindly. I have had to treat each subject briefly, and leave many untouched, but I have taken up the main pillars of that faith! if these fall, the whole must go down. It is now nearly twenty-five years since this book was first published. This is the fourteenth edition. It has been translated into several languages, sold by numerous publishing houses, gone to the ends of the earth wherever Adventism has gone, and has been the greatest obstacle that work has ever had to meet. Yet Adventists have ventured no answer to it. Say what they may, it is evident that they would gladly answer it if they could do so safely.

88. Seventh-day Adventist’s Teach That Sunday Worshippers ARE THE Mark Of The Beast
seventhday Adventist’s teach that Sunday worshippers ARE THE Mark Of The Beast. A law will enforce this upon seventh-day adventists. They won t obey.
http://www.bible.ca/7-mark-beast.htm
Seventh-day Adventist’s teach that Sunday worshippers ARE THE Mark Of The Beast. Recent converts are either unaware, or unwilling to accept the official historic position of their church. Although their first reaction is, "My church doesn’t teach that!" read the proof for yourself! It is still the official teaching today, except they teach it with flowery speech! Proof the official doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist churches is that the Mark of the beast is those who worship on Sunday.
  • "Sunday-keeping must be the mark of the beast." ... "The reception of his mark must be something that involves the greatest offense that can be committed against God." (The Marvel of Nations, Elder U. Smith pages 170, 183) "Here we find the mark of the beast. The very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, on the part of the Catholic church, without any authority from the Bible." (Ellen G. White, The Mark of the Beast, page 23) "The Sunday Sabbath is purely a child of the Papacy. It is the mark of the beast." (Advent Review, Vol. I, No. 2, August, 1850.) "The change of the Sabbath is the sign or mark of the authority of the Romish church." ... "The keeping of the counterfeit Sabbath is the reception of the mark." (Ellen G. White, Great Controversy, Vol. 4, page 281.

About seventhday adventists. This same group accepted the teaching of the seventh-day Sabbath, and became known as seventh-day adventists.
    http://www.llu.edu/info/SDAhist.html

About Seventh-day Adventists The colorful history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church began as a result of close study of Bible prophecies around the mid-nineteenth century. People of many persuasions came to believe that the second coming, or advent, of Christ was imminent.
When Christ did not come at that time, a group of Adventists in New England, continuing their study of prophecy, concluded that the time period was right but the event anticipated was the beginning of the final judgment in heaven rather than the second coming of Christ, which was still in the future. This same group accepted the teaching of the seventh-day Sabbath, and became known as Seventh-day Adventists. The church organized formally in 1863.
Basing its faith on the Bible, the church today is a closely-knit, worldwide organization with a membership of more than 13.5 million believers. The church sent its first missionary, J. N. Andrews, abroad in 1874, and today conducts evangelistic endeavors in more than 208 nations, in more than 700 languages.
The church operates one of the largest Protestant educational systems in the world, with more than 5,700 schools, including 86 colleges and 15 universities.

    94. Walter Martin & SDA
THE seventhday adventists ARE THE ONES WHO SEPARATED FROM AND DERIDED OTHER CHURCHES. They seventh-day adventists are modern-day Galatian heretics.
    http://www.rapidnet.com/~jbeard/bdm/Cults/sda/martin.htm
Why Walter Martin Considered Seventh-Day Adventism Evangelical*
In the book Kingdom of the Cults , the late Dr. Walter Martin [founder of the Christian Research Institute (CRI) who died in 1989] defended the Seventh-Day Adventist Church as orthodox and refused to label this group as a cult. Martin's position in this influential book has resulted in widespread confusion on this subject. Martin's approach to Seventh-Day Adventism is contrasted with that of those who view this group as a dangerous cult.

WALTER MARTIN ACCEPTED THE STATEMENTS OF ONE PARTICULAR SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST PUBLICATION, QUESTIONS ON DOCTRINE , AS THE BASIS FOR HIS EVALUATION
The book Questions on Doctrine was published by the SDA denomination especially for general public use to answer charges of heresy that had been leveled at them. Martin thought it wrong that other contenders for the faith had based their evaluation of Seventh-Day Adventism on a variety of SDA literature, arguing that these were not an official representation of SDA doctrine. He even contended that Ellen G. White's writings were not a fair representation of SDA teaching. Consider the following statement from The Kingdom of the Cults by Walter Martin: "In 1957 the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists released the first definitive and comprehensive explanation of their faith, an authoritative volume entitled

    Quote on Cancer
"People are continually eating flesh that is filled with tuberculous and cancerous germs. Tuberculosis, cancer, and other fatal diseases are thus communicated ." (The Ministry of Healing, p.313). Quote on Shaving on Sabbath "The violation of the fourth commandment is not confined to the preparation of food. Many carelessly put off blacking their boots, and shaving , until after the beginning of the Sabbath. This should not be. If any neglect to do such work on a working day, they should have respect enough for God's holy time to let their beards remain unshaven , their boots rough and brown, until the Sabbath is past. This might help their memory, and make them more careful to do their own work on the six working days." (Signs of the Times, May 25, 1882). What Seventh-day Adventist pastor obeys this counsel?
