The Gazetteer for Scotland is a vast geographical database, featuring details of towns, villages, bens and glens from the Scottish Borders to the Northern Isles. The first comprehensive gazetteer produced for Scotland since 1885, it includes tourist attractions, industries and historic sites, together with histories of family names and biographies of famous people associated with Scotland. The network of connections between all of these entries make this gazetteer unique. With at least detailed entries, the Gazetteer is already the largest Scottish resource available on the web, yet it is growing constantly, with some entries added or updated in the last week alone. Please look at 'Gaz Stats' for more information. Enter the Gazetteer for Scotland using either: Maps

In progress of being updated September 2003 Brought to you by Faith de Sancha This site came into being as I am an artist in love with the process of
creating art. As I live and work in Scotland and know many other artists based here I thought it a good idea to create 'ArtScotland' - a virtual gallery to showcase new and exciting works by Scottish artists. You will find representational, contemporary, print, sculpture, ceramic art and exquisite jewelry from a selection of artists here at Art Scotland. The gallery will change often to enable the viewer to experience original and exciting works. If you are interested to see more of an artists work or to commission a piece of work please contact ArtScotland via e-mail or via our Feedback page. If you would like to comment: For any comments on the gallery or if you are a Scottish artist who wishes to show your work here at Art Scotland then please contact me by e mail : or by phone at Purchasing art work at Art Scotland.
