MST Registration Form For elementary students, projects may be as simple as a collection, a display board project, a simple experiment, exploration of a math topic, or an invention. For secondary students entries could include an investigation of a topic, a research presentation, an experiment following the scientific method, or an engineering/technology construction. This is an EXPOSITION, it is not a competitive Science Fair . Students will have the opportunity to share with others what they enjoy in the areas of math, science, and/or technology. Registration details and forms will be distributed to all students in January 2004. Ideas for your project can come from many places. Think about problems you want solved or items you would like explained. Read newspapers and magazines for current topics of interest. Check out math, science, and technology sites on the Internet. Your project can be an investigation, a collection, a demonstration/invention of a scientific or mathematical principle, a research report, an experiment, or an engineering/technology construction. The most important thing is for you to do something that you are interested in! Have a good time doing the project and learning from it.

Morgan. A Maths Dictionary for Kids by J. Eather is an attention-getting, animated collection of over 400 terms found in K-8 math. Definitions with examples and interactive activities reinforce concepts. AAAMath contains hundreds of pages of basic math skills with interactive practice on topics found in K-8 curriculum. Each math topic is explained. Associated games are presented. Problems are randomly generated. Selection can be made by grade level or topic. Science and Math e-Projects Connect Students Worldwide
Projects can use the Internet as "more than just as a large library!" It's easy for teachers to integrate science and math projects on the Internet! The Center for Improved Engineering and Science Education (CIESE) provides teachers with the necessary classroom tools for five different projects and for several real-time projects that connect students worldwide. Included: Comments from teachers across the grades who have used the CIESE projects! CIESE, a pioneer in the use of the Internet in math and science education, began running collaborative projects more than five years ago, said Joshua D. Baron, its manager of curriculum development and training. "The goal of the CIESE with its online projects is to develop and demonstrate to teachers how the Internet can be used in ways other than just as a large library," Baron told Education World.

If so, try using another browser or an FTP package. If that doesn't work, there might be a problem at your end or at your ISP, perhaps a firewall issue.
