    Megan Henley General Information: Indiana requires completion of two years (four credits) in laboratory science. It is further stipulated that one year must be in a life science (Biology or Life Science) and one year in a physical science (Physical Science, Earth Science, Chemistry, or Physics). Course Information : Earth and Space Science I (Course #’s 7101/7102) is a two-semester course and counts as an advanced lab science (physical science) toward a Core 40 or AH diploma. One credit will be earned for each semester with a passing grade. Suggested grade levels are 10-12. Prerequisites are Biology I or Physical Science. Text Modern Earth Science , Holt, Rinehart and Winston, 1998. Supplementary readings : to be provided by the instructor Materials: 3-Ring binder, notebook paper, pencil, 12-pack colored pencils Course Description: Earth and Space Science I provide a study of the earth’s lithosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere, and its celestial environment.
