Felix, who is in her first professional season and hoping for a place in Athens, finished third at the adidas Oregon Track Classic Saturday in 23.12, behind fellow American Crystal Cox in 23 seconds. "I'm nowhere near peaking," Felix said. "I need to keep training over the next few weeks and try to get into race shape."

Tuesday Night Turtles The Tuesday Night Turtles is an informal group that meets on tuesday nights (DUH!!) at 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot just east of the Dayton Marriott Hotel. The distances vary from 3 to 9 miles over some fairly hilly roads through Dayton, Oakwood, and Kettering. If the hills are too daunting, the River Corridor bikeway is close by as well. The pace of these runs varies based on the individual, but we have runners of all calibers (anywhere from a sub 7:00 to 11:00 per mile pace) so there will most always be someone to run with.
