Society's Ills Once there were two students walking along a river. One of them just so happened to glance over at something floating in the river. It did not take long for him to realize that it was a baby! Without hesitation he jumped into the river to save the infant from drowning. When he jumped in he realized that there were at least ten more in his immediate area, all of them screaming and crying as they bobbed by. Quite naturally he started screaming to the other student.

    Discussion
Most of the focus on diversity is about race and gender, but while most of the controversy over religion differences within the European Americnas died out after the 1920s, it hasn't changed the fact that there are enormous differences between religious groups, and the differences are much greater between the religions than between ethnic groups in terms of economics, education, politics and whatever. Most are aware of the disproportionate dominance of the Jews, but liberal Christians and the non-religious are also over-represented in the most desirable institutions. The least represented are the conservative Christians like the Baptists, they are often more under-represented than Blacks, who have affirmative action while there is no affirmative action for any Euro-American groups, regardless of religion, or under-represented sub-groups.

Abrahamic religions An Abrahamic religion (also referred to as desert monotheism ) is a religion derived from the ancient Semitic tradition of Abraham, a great patriarch depicted in the Bible . This group of largely monotheistic religions, which includes Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, constitutes the majority of the world's religious adherents. Muslims refer to adherents of most Abrahamic religions as People of the Book. Other minor Abrahamic religions include the Bahá'í Faith, Samaritanism, Mandaeanism, and Druzism.

    • Bahá'í Faith The is a monotheistic religion, whose members follow the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh, their prophet founder. The Bahá'í Faith is the second most widespread of the world's independent religions in terms of the number of countries in which it is represented (second due to its absence from the Vatican City), established in 236 countries and territories throughout the world. Bahá'ís come from over 2,100 ethnic, racial, and tribal groups and are numbered at approximately 6 million adherents worldwide. The central works of the Bahá'í Scriptures have been translated into 802 languages.
