Posts: 128 Has anyone had any luck using Atkins diet to help? I found a site that said that people with PCOS can level out their insulin levels and achieve pregnancy while using the atkins plan. Just wondering if anyone knows anything abot it? Or any other natural approch to helping with PCOS? Report this post to a moderator Logged 07:29 PM

Posts: 59 weightloss does help! Hi DG, Weightlosss and Atkins does help!!!! First the excessive insulin from PCOS and isulin resistance inhibits ovulation, so any help you can give the body to work properly, will go a long way in producing eggs. In addiiton it helps maintain the pregancy. So if you can stay on an atkins plan, go for it. If you would like some info on it, PM me... nina Report this post to a moderator Logged 07:45 PM Senior Member Registered: Aug 2003 Location: Posts: 164 Hello - I started the Atkins diet plan in Oct., I've lost 30lbs. so far and my cycles are regular again, we just now started TTC again so we'll see how it goes. If it's meant to be, it will happen for us.
