... The 10 Best Medieval Movies
Read Advice Write an essay on this topic. The 10 Best Classic Medieval/Renaissance Movies
Mar 17 '04
The Bottom Line The bottom line is already a classic..
There are many great period movies out there, and I already went over many of them in my Favorite Period Fantasy Movies List so let's limit this one to the classics, shall we? Now, how to define 'classic.' I think usually this would mean anything older than 20 years, but for the purposes of this particular list I think I'll go back even farther and say anything released before 1970....
Camelot
(1967) ~ Is there anything more universally intriguing than the story of King Arthur, Guenevere, and Sir Lancelot? It's been done time and again, but never as well as this classic musical from 1967. This is the usual slant, with Arthur being the king of Camelot and marrying the gorgeous Guenevere.. only to have her fall in love with his best friend and finest knight, Lancelot. Of course we have the foul son Mordred plotting Camelot's destruction at every opportunity.... Stars Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave, and Franco Nero.
The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) ~ The wonderful Errol Flynn in the title role as the dashing forest dweller who robs from the rich and gives to the poor. As much as I like later versions of this tale, this one will always reign supreme.

    ... History
    Welsh History
Written by: tallshipchick Wales has a tumultuous and somewhat violent history. During the early years A.D., the country was in turmoil with the Roman invasions, and the biggest defenses that the Welsh had were the deep, dark hills scattered all over the country. Without the safety of these hills, Wales would certainly have been taken over by the Romans. After the Romans left Wales, the Vikings presented a new threat to the peaceful lands of Wales. The Romans also had a huge effect on the Welsh religion and language. Wales was affected both negatively and positively by these invasions. When the Romans left Wales in the 4th century, they left it unprotected against the Saxons, Picts and Irish Goidel tribes. The end of the Roman Empire meant the beginning of a Dark Age for Wales (Thomas, 1986, p. 13).

See their dogs . Al majored in Psychology and minored in history at UCLA with visions of becoming a veterinarian. Since his freshman year at UCLA, Al studied a Korean Martial Art, Hwa Rang Do . He began teaching the new members after about three years and found that he loved to teach. That was the career for Al, so upon graduating from UCLA he attended the California State University at Northridge to work towards earning his teaching credential. Dissatisfied with Northridge's lack of support in their graduate program, he learned about the Los Angeles Unified School District's intern program that led to a California Clear Credential and signed up. He was accepted.
At Main Street Al joined the Local School Leadership Council and the School Site Council, participated in putting on multicultural assemblies, chaired the technology committee, was part of the mathematics and science committees and was responsible for bringing the internet to Main Street and purchasing the new computer lab. In a position of leadership, he participated in the state's evaluation of the school's improvement program and helped rewrite the school's improvement plan. In five years he amassed as much experience as he could in all areas of the elementary school curriculum and attended several workshops and inservices in all the subject areas. In Washington, Al worked his first year in a replacement contract at Blue Heron Middle school teaching 7th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. In that one year at Blue Heron, Al worked closely with the 7th grade team to create integrative units for the kids and he and his classes pariticipated in two online collaborative projects.

Journal Entry: Fri Jun 11, 2004, 12:52 AM Was in a good mood, inspired and all. Luckilly i got some art work done before shit hit the fan. Now I have another freaking dose of insomnia. Uploaded the art I did, a pict of Tzir. Wonder if i should hold another contest for tzir and xor... Alas, i seem to now have a lack of confidence, modivation, creativity, and friend skills. but here you go, submited tzir pict for prints, probably be approved by tomorrow. Luckilly no school tomorrow, but i feel shitty all the same. Maybe i should get with my munkey face, i miss her. If anyone wants to enter a contest of mine I'll list my current ideas, if enough people want to do it then i'll hold it. open to any other contest ideas you all might have.
    Contest ideas:
    1. Flaunt your Fur: draw any of my furry/anthro chars in your own style or write a story. Will probably be graded on creativity mostly.
